Building & Rope PUZZLE || Think outside the box

You find yourself stranded atop a structure towering at a dizzying height of 200 meters. In your possession is a rope, measuring a length of 150 meters, and it can be secured to a hook adjacent to where you stand. Information has reached you that halfway to safety, precisely 100 meters below, there is a ledge where a second hook awaits. Armed also with a blade honed sharp, you are presented with a conundrum: how does one descend to safety utilizing the rope, knife, and the pair of hooks?

The illustration depicts a tall building labeled with a 200-meter height, with an individual standing at the edge of the roof beside a coiled rope that is indicated to be 150 meters long. Below, at the halfway mark of the building’s height, a distinguishable ledge with another hook is marked at 100 meters. A sign to the right poses the challenge of descending with the help of the rope, knife, and two hooks. Toward the bottom, there’s an icon representing a danger, and in the background, a cloud-filled sky with a tree and grass visible at the building’s base set the scene.
